Web Design

After i got tired of that i moved on to watching countless hours of computer tutorial videos on Youtube and learned a lot from that.

During this time I did my first attempt at basic web design, my first page was unfortunaly lost, but I did manage to find the second website i created by myself(pure HTML), I forgot when I created this, but the copyright info at the bottom claim it was made sometime in the 2006, you can check it out here.

The first website I created with a sitebuilder was made with GooglePages(sadly discontinued), here is the link to that website, it is broken now because they moved it over to google sites, which somehow glitched it.

The first “all HTML” no builder website i published was on Webs.com in 2009-10, it was called Helge-Dump, it was a decent webpage, nothing special.

i enjoyed making it and i think that is what matters the most, also i was just beginning HTML at that point too.

Fast Forward some years until 2011 and i started designing better websites with CSS and HTML. I was trying to improve my Web Design skills by designing more websites and layouts, you can check out some of my “early projects” here.

Programming

Back in 8. grade in high school(secondary school?) i started to download some programs some of which included: DevC++, Python 2.8, Visual Basic Express.
I started watching some Visual Basic tutorials, but i didn’t really have the patience or interest at that time.

After that failure I started to watch some of Bucky’s C++ tutorials(the old ones), and didn’t really understand much so i gave up(i was young and diden’t have much patience), then i started watching some Python tutorials, understood a little bit more than with the C++ ones, and started making very simple programs.

Then, in 2011, I started watching some of Bucky’s C++ tutorials(the new ones) and i decided to at least learn the basics of the language this time.

I started developing some program, which you can find here and here. as of today i have programmed 2 “Serious” programs, MonstaMath and BlackJack/MonstaBlack, which i created in cooperation with MonstaStudios(Sadly no longer around)

Linux

I had just recently heard about GNU/Linux, i read somewhere on the internet that it was a free Operating System most commonly used by “hackers” and as servers.

so i jumped on the bandwagon and installed Ubuntu, and after that all my complaints about PC software not working or hardware not working dissapared!

I am average Linux user, that loves to play around in the terminal(that black box with text most people don’t understand).
